Tayangban Cave Pool
On Siargao, next to the Magpupungko Rock Pools, lies the inland wonder known as the Tayangban Cave Pool. This cave belongs to the category of cenote, or naturally occurring sinkhole, which is formed when limestone collapses to reveal substantial freshwater aquifers. The deepest waters of Tayangban Cave according to the locals, are above 100 meters deep. After the first Filipino cave divers investigated the cave pool, it became known as Kantoloi Twin Cenotes, which gradually changed to its titular name.
How to get there
The best way to get here via public transportation is by riding a scooter. Otherwise, you can get here conveniently by joining a guided tour.
