I really enjoy seeing a part of Manilla by bike. I am from the Netherlands, so for me it's a must. With a Grab taxi I arrive Just on time for the tour, (tip: the taxi / traffic will takes allong time). My bamboo bike was pit at the right heigt for me. And we started the tour. In the beginning a very bumpy ride, because of the old rocks. But soon the road was better. I see nice history- parts of Manilla. The tourguide was amazing. You also visit some places, you can leave the bike and they will watch it for you. Because of the 2 tourguides. At the end we all received an ice cream, which was very nice. Thank you !

The Manila Intramuros Historical Express tour provided a unique and eco-friendly way to explore the heart of Manila's rich history. Riding on bamboo bikes, participants enjoyed an intimate, up-close experience of Intramuros, the centuries-old walled city that survived the Spanish colonial era, the American period, and the battles of World War II. The knowledgeable guides, well-versed in the history of Intramuros, delivered engaging narratives and interesting anecdotes. In just 90 minutes, the tour covered major historical landmarks, including Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church, and Casa Manila, offering scenic views of the old city walls, plazas, and colonial architecture. Despite the short duration, it felt comprehensive and fulfilling, making it an excellent choice for those visiting Manila.

The day of the trip was sunny, but because I went to Manila the last minute, then decided to go on a tour that will only take me a day, I don't have enough gear with me. Still the sun was manageable without a cap, but I would recommend it since you will be touring on a bike during the day. The guides are very kind and considerate, also the fact that they shower you much historical facts. A bit of a story, in my case, it's been years since I've ridden a bike, but I was able to keep my biking skill until before our last stop at St. Agustin's church haha. At that point, a guide offered to take me to the last stop on his bike while I leave my bike behind (they'll fetch it later). So I hope you are confident in your biking skills to do this tour, because it's a great tour around Intramuros, and the views and historical context is amazing!
