On this tour, you’ll be able to go on an ATV ride through an exclusive trail near the iconic Mayon Volcano, try sili (chili pepper) ice cream, and visit a church and a local farm village.
Your driver will pick you up at your hotel in Legazpi City. You will settle in the van as you head to Cagsawa Ruins for your tour.
You’ll go off-road and pass through rocky paths, rivers, and swamps, and get to the closest viewpoint to Mayon Volcano via an ATV ride. You will also be able to take a close look at lava rocks and lava fields created by different Mayon Volcano eruptions.

Your adventure will continue to the site of the Cagsawa Ruins. The ruins are those of the Cagsawa Church, a Franciscan church destroyed by the 1814 eruption of Mayon Volcano. The eruption also ultimately destroyed the whole town of Cagsawa. Now, only the church’s belfry remains.
There is a shopping center located near the Cagsawa Ruins, where you can purchase souvenirs and snacks.
For lunch, you can treat yourself to a delectable meal at 1st Colonial Grill, which boasts delicious local dishes. You’ll also enjoy a generous serving of sili or chili pepper ice cream. This unique dessert offers a delightful contrast of cold temperature and spicy flavor, a must-try on this adventure.
Your Mayon Volcano tour will also take you to Daraga Church. Also known as Nuestra Señora de la Porteria Parish Church, this structure has been standing since 1772. In 2007, some parts of the church, including its belfry, were declared a National Cultural Treasure. You can also see a beautiful view of Mayon Volcano from the outside of the church.
Another stop is the Albay Farmers Bounty Village. Here, you can learn about the techniques that farmers use to process cacao, pili, honey, and dairy products.
Before heading back to your hotel, you have time to shop for souvenirs at Albay Farmers Bounty Village, like cacao wine, tablea, sweet pili nuts, pili oil, and fresh milk.
