In the morning, you will embark on an air-conditioned and cozy vehicle that will take you to Sumlang Lake. Sumlang Lake is a nine-hectare swamp where you will riding a bamboo raft to enjoy the majestic view of Mayon Volcano. You will also spot art pieces, stylish sets of chairs, and cottages at Sumlang Lake.
Your second stop is the Hoyop-Hoyopan Cave. Lace-up your trekking shoes and prepare to follow a footpath through the jungle to reach the cave. Hoyop-Hoyopan Cave is famous for its many entrances and exits, comparable to a maze. You will see intriguing shapes of the stalactites and stalagmites. Another interesting feature of the cave is that you will be able to feel the gentle and breezy wind blowing through the openings.
After the exciting cave exploration, you will now head to Quitinday Green Hills, which is about half an hour away from the cave. Dubbed as Albay’s Chocolate Hills, the Quintinday Green Hills offers you an expansive landscape dotted with countless green hills. You can also see Mount Mayon in the backdrop. Explore one or two of the peaks and enjoy the 360-degree view from the top.
Your last stop will be Kitwinan Hill, the highest point in Camalig. You will be lead to the top of the hill where you can enjoy a nice picnic with your group and appreciate the full view of the magnificent Mayon Volcano. Before leaving Camalig, enjoy the tasty complimentary meal.
