Description

Visit some of the top tourist attractions in the province when you book this Bohol countryside tour. First-time visitors to the island and those who want to revisit Bohol’s countryside will like this Bohol Chocolate Hills tour, as it will take you to Baclayon Church, Corella Tarsier Sanctuary, and Bilar Man-Made Forest. Of course, it will also take you to the famous Chocolate Hills and to a Loboc River cruise. This Bohol day tour also comes with the assistance of a driver-guide, entrance fees, bottled water, shared Loboc River cruise lunch, and transfers from and to your hotel or resort in Panglao.

Your guide will pick you up from your accomodations in Panglao in the morning. Together, you’ll head to your first stop, Baclayon Church. Also known as La Purisima Concepcion de la Virgen Maria Parish Church, this tourist attraction is a declared National Cultural Treasure and a National Historical Landmark. It was heavily damaged during a 2013 earthquake but has been restored.

Your next stop is the Corella Tarsier Sanctuary. The sanctuary is a common stop in most Bohol tours and is home to the small primate and aims to protect these amazing creatures. During your visit, make sure not to disturb the tarsiers and follow all the guidelines of the sanctuary.

Next, you’ll have lunch while on a slow cruise down Loboc River. Enjoy your meal aboard this Bohol river cruise while taking in the natural surroundings and a cultural show by the locals. Following your Loboc River tour, you’ll head to the Bilar Man-Made Forest, a 2-kilometer stretch of mahogany trees that serves as a stunning backdrop to travel photos.

Finally, you’ll head to the viewing deck of the Chocolate Hills, which are over a thousand hills stretched across the towns of Carmen, Batuan, and Sagbayan. During the rainy season, these hills are covered with grass, but they turn brown during the dry season, making them look like they’re made of chocolate.

Before ending the tour, you will be given a chance to shop at Aproniana Souvenir Shop. Afterward, you will be dropped off at your hotel or resort in Panglao so you can rest.

Explore the countryside of Bohol, from the Chocolate Hills to the Loboc River cruise, by booking this activity. Check the availability by choosing a date.
