Level up your scuba diving skills by taking this two-day PADI Advanced Open Water Course in Panglao, Bohol. If you’re at least twelve years old and have completed the open water diving certification course, then this program is for you. The course also includes a PADI Manual, 5 specialty open-water dives, the use of diving gear, a certification card, snacks, fruits, a beverage, and free pick-up from Danao or Tawala on Panglao Island.

On the first day of your course, you can either head straight to the Haka Dive Center or avail of the free shuttle pick-up from any hotel within the Tawala and Danao Area in Panglao. Upon arriving at the dive center, your instructor will give you a brief rundown of the course and what to expect. One does not have to be “advanced” to take the Advanced Open Water Course. It is titled as such because the course is designed to advance one’s diving knowledge and skills.

During the course, the aspiring Advanced Open Water diver will have the opportunity to try out different Dive Specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of a professional PADI instructor. Of the five specialty open water dives that are included in the course, the Deep Dive and Navigation Dive are mandatory.

These required dives will equip the divers with knowledge and skills on how to plan dives and deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. It will refine their compass navigation skills and help them better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks, and time.

As for the remaining three specialty dives, the student has the freedom to choose which ones to pursue. You can choose from a PADI Aware Fish Identification Dive, Boat Dive, Digital Underwater Photography, Drift Dive, Enriched Air Dive, Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive, Search and Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, or Wreck Dive.

Log your new dives and discover more fun ways to enjoy scuba diving by taking this two-day course in Bohol. Check the availability by choosing a date.
