Boracay Kiteboarding Lesson | Discovery Course with Instructor & Equipment

This is a good introduction if you want to give kitesurfing a try and see how addicted you get. You will learn the basics of wind direction and learn how to pilot the kite with easy exercises such as body dragging. This Boracay kiteboard lesson already comes with kiteboarding equipment (the kite, bar, harness, booties, and helmet), so all you have to do is show up. Please note that this course can be done in a pair or individually. A pair class will take two hours, while a solo class will take 90 minutes.

The activity is available from 8 AM to 6 PM, but note that the schedule of lessons may vary depending on the tide and the weather conditions. On the day of your visit, the use of rash guards and board shorts are highly recommended for the activity before heading to Isla Kitesurfing along Boracay’s Bolabog Beach. 

Once there, you will be introduced to an expert instructor, who will brief you on the basics of kiteboarding. Listen carefully, as they will also teach you about the safety guidelines you need to follow, how to read the wind, set up your kite, and familiarize yourself with its safety features.

After learning about kiteboarding theory, you will head to the water to apply what you learned. Your instructor will assist you as you learn how to control and pilot the kite by dragging your body accordingly. Don’t worry about not getting it right the first few times, as your instructor will be with you to assist you. 

Once your lesson is over, your instructor will accompany you back to the shore so you can continue enjoying Boracay Island at your own pace.
