Description

Feel an adrenaline rush when you experience canyoneering and island-hopping and witness a sardine run with this tour in Cebu. This tour in Badian and Moalboal is already inclusive of the assistance of a local tour guide, the use of safety and snorkeling gear, lunch, bottled water, and roundtrip transfers so you don’t need to arrange for any of those yourself.

You need to wake up early on the day of your tour because your guide will pick you up from your hotel or resort in Cebu City or Mactan Island at 4 AM to ensure that you can maximize your day. After being picked up, you will make your way to Badian so you can experience canyoneering in Kawasan Falls.

During this adventure, you’ll make your way through the different tiers of the falls and the canyons of Badian by trekking, swimming, rappelling, cliff jumping, and rock climbing. Don’t worry if some of the activities seem daunting, as you can just ask your guide for an easier route if you are not very confident with your canyoneering skills. You’ll end your activity on the lowest level of Kawasan Falls, where you can enjoy the view of the beautiful surroundings while aboard a bamboo raft.

Next, you’ll head to Moalboal for the island-hopping leg of this tour. Your first stop there is Pescador Island, where you can swim or snorkel. The island’s waters is known for its rich marine life, so you’ll be able to see different kinds of fish and other sea creatures when you snorkel.

After that, your boat will take you to Turtle Point, a dive site in Moalboal that is known to be frequented by turtles. If you are lucky enough to be able to spot these gentle creatures, make sure to not touch or disturb them.

Your last experience for the day is the famed sardine run. A sardine run is when thousands upon thousands of sardines gather underwater, swim together, and move in unison. You can witness this phenomenon in the shallow waters of Moalboal. You don’t need much luck and skill to see a sardine run here, making it the perfect place to snorkel.

After you get back to the mainland, your driver will bring you back to your accommodations in Cebu City or Mactan Island so you can relax after a day of touring.

Enjoy a day of exploring Cebu’s outdoors when you book this private tour in Badian and Moalboal. Check the availability by choosing a date.
