Summary
Description
Explore the outdoor attractions of South Cebu with this day tour that will take you whale shark watching and canyoneering. This tour already comes with the assistance of a guide, transfers, pick-up and drop-off from and to your hotel in Cebu City or Mactan, the use of safety gear, and a complimentary recovery meal.
Your day will start very early, so make sure you have enough rest the previous day. You will be picked up from your hotel within Cebu City or Mactan Island at 3 AM. You may also be picked up from another location, but make sure you coordinate this request in advance with the tour operator as the pick-up time may need to be adjusted, and an additional fee might be charged.
After your tour guide picks you up, you will head to the southern area of Cebu. When you arrive in Oslob, you will board a boat that will take you to the whale shark-watching area. You may swim in the water with the whale sharks, but do not touch and disturb them for the whale sharks’ and your own safety. If you want to be able to spend more time underwater, you can book a scuba diving experience as an add-on to this tour.
Once you are done with your whale shark encounter, you will head to Sumilon Island. During your stay, you may enjoy snorkeling in the island’s waters, which is a protected marine area. Don’t miss the chance to check out the island’s famous sandbar, which changes shape depending on the season and the tide.
Finally, you’ll head to Alegria and experience canyoneering through its rivers and canyons. You will trek, climb, and slide along the route to Alegria Falls. Don’t worry, as you will have complete safety gear when doing this activity. After canyoneering, you will enjoy a complimentary recovery meal before heading back to your hotel in Cebu City or Mactan Island.
Experience whale shark watching and canyoneering in South Cebu when you book this activity. Check the availability by choosing a date.
