Prepare yourself for a full day of scenic tourist attractions in Bohol, one of the must-visit provinces in the Philippines. This jam-packed excursion is perfect for those with limited time in the island who want to appreciate all the best it can offer.

This private day tour will start when you are picked up from your accommodation in Bohol. You will be met by an accredited guide who will give you the background of the places you’ll visit. Your first stop is the Blood Compact Site where hundreds of years ago, Datu Sikatuna and Spanish explorer Miguel Lopez de Legazpi sealed their friendship by drinking wine mixed with their blood.

From the historic structure, you’ll be taken next to Baclayon Church, one of the oldest in the Philippines. Built in the 16th century, this coral stone church is a National Cultural Treasure as well as a National Historical Landmark.

You will then head to Loboc River where you’ll board a floating restaurant. Enjoy a delicious buffet of local delicacies while you go cruising! Once you’re back at shore, your next stop is the Bilar manmade forest, a dense mahogany forest that spans two kilometers and makes for the perfect Instagram post.

You will visit the tarsiers next, one of the world’s smallest primates. At the sanctuary, these über-cute creatures are kept in a stress-free natural environment, so to avoid disturbing them, don’t use flash photography. Touching them is not allowed as well.

From the tarsiers, you will make a stop at the hanging bridge and the Butterfly Garden where you can see some of the 300 butterfly species in the area.

The highlight of the tour is the visit to Chocolate Hills. Don’t expect delicious edibles; what you’ll see are over 1,000 hills—almost identical in form and height—that turn brown during the dry season, hence the name. Climb up the viewing deck to get a stunning 360-view of this natural wonder.

Wear your most comfortable shoes and clothes as you go on a tour that will show you the best attractions of Bohol. Check booking availability by pressing “Choose a date” above.
