Description

Enjoy a private Siquijor Island day tour from Dumaguete City when you book this activity. If you already have plans to go to Dumaguete City and are looking for a side trip to make the most of your vacation, this private day tour is perfect for you as it already comes with land and boat transfers from the city, entrance fees, the assistance of a tour guide, and free lunch with drinks.

You will be picked up at 6:30 AM, so remember to wake up early and make sure you have prepared for this trip. Bring sunblock, a waterproof bag, and snorkeling gear. You may also rent snorkeling gear as an add-on to this tour.

After you are picked up, you will head to the port so you can board the boat that will bring you to Siquijor Island. Once you arrive on the island, you’ll begin your tour by heading to your first stop, the Saint Francis of Assisi Church. This church was founded in 1783. You will also make a quick stop at the “I love Siquijor” sign for picture taking.

Next on your tour is Paliton Beach. Many locals believe that this is the best beach on the island, thanks to its clear waters, white sand beach, and tall coconut trees. Take in the tropical views and snap some photos before heading to your next stop, the old enchanted Balete tree. The tree has a natural spring flowing beneath it and is believed to be 400 years old.

Get ready to pose for quirky photos in Hapitanan, where you can get a photo of you seemingly flying on a broomstick taken. This is a nod to the stories about the island’s magic and witchcraft. Once you have that perfect photo, you’ll head to the Lazi Convent, the oldest and biggest convent in Asia.

You’ll take a break from exploring when you have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Once you have finished eating, you’ll head to the Cambugahay Waterfalls, one of the most picturesque spots on the island. After a quick visit there, you’ll head to Salagdong Beach, where you can spend time exploring its two coves and colorful reefs. Those seeking an adrenaline rush can also try cliff diving.

After your beach trip, you’ll head back to the Siquijor Seaport to board your boat back to Dumaguete City, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Go on a side trip to Siquijor Island during your vacation in Dumaguete City. Check the availability by choosing a date.
