Conquer the majestic Mt. Apo in Davao by joining this 2-day camping tour via the Sta. Cruz Trail. Designed for advanced trekkers who can endure long trekking hours, this Mt. Apo hike is inclusive of accommodation pick-up and drop-off (within Davao City), 3 complimentary meals, guide and porter assistance, camping equipment, climb permits and fees, and a climb certificate. Other meals, tips, gratuities, and additional activities are not included.
Your Mt. Apo hike tour package begins bright and early at 5 AM, as you meet the designated driver who will bring you to the jump-off point at Sitio Baruring via Digos-Kapatagan Road. You will ride aboard a van or a bus and a truck or a motorcycle.
You will then arrive in Kapatagan, where you can purchase a delicious packed lunch and a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the trek ahead. Departing after a few minutes, you will head towards the Baruring River trail, reaching an elevation of 1,141 meters above sea level. The real adventure commences as you start your exhilarating trek. Pass through Colan and Tumpis, and allow the stunning natural beauty of the trail to leave you in awe. You can eat your lunch along the trail.
Around 3:00 PM, you will reach Tinikaran Camp, where you will pitch your tent and eat a delicious dinner as part of the Mt. Apo camping experience. As the sun sets, immerse yourself in the peaceful ambiance of the mountains, retiring for the night. Rest well and gather your energy, as day 2 promises more awe-inspiring moments on this unforgettable Mt. Apo expedition.
Ascend the summit via a route that will pass by boulders, a mini rock tower, the Gabroq E-Camp, and Botoy's Ridge or 87 degrees, beginning at 1 AM. Reach the entrance to the boulders and continue your journey to the mesmerizing old crater.
At 5:30 AM, you will reach the summit on the Davao side, standing at an impressive 2,934 meters above sea level. Witness the breathtaking sunrise and take in the awe-inspiring panoramic views.
Continue your adventure to the summit's Center Peak at 2,964 meters above sea level. Enjoy more views of the sunrise while indulging in a delicious breakfast of sandwiches and hot drinks. You will arrive at the campsite for a satisfying lunch and a well-deserved short siesta. You will then begin the descent back to Tumpis. Reach Tumpis by 3 PM, followed by Baruring, and as your adventure comes to a close, you will then arrive in Kapatagan. Around 8 PM, you will return to Davao City.

Day 1 - Day 1: Pick-up and Trek to Camp Site
Your adventure begins at 5 AM. Your designated driver will pick you up from your accommodations in Davao City. They will take you to the jump-off point at Sitio Baruring via Digos-Kapatagan Road. After reaching Kapatagan, buy a delicious packed lunch and fuel up with a hearty breakfast (own expense). Soon, you will embark on the thrilling trek, passing through Colan and Tumpis, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Take your time to savor a satisfying lunch along the trail. By around 3:00 PM, you will arrive at Tinikaran camp, where you'll pitch your tent and enjoy a delicious dinner. As the sun sets, embrace the tranquility of the mountains and rest for the night, rejuvenating your energy for the next day's adventures.
Day 2 - Day 2: Trek to the the Davao and Center Peak Summits
At 1 AM, ascend the thrilling route that passes through boulders, a mini rock tower, the Gabroq E-Camp, and Botoy's Ridge or 87 degrees. Reach the mesmerizing old crater and experience the breathtaking sunrise at the summit on the Davao side, standing at 2,934 meters above sea level. Indulge in a delicious breakfast at Center Peak, followed by a satisfying lunch at the campsite. Begin the descent back to Tumpis, then Baruring, and finally reach Kapatagan. By around 8 PM, you'll arrive back in Davao City.

DISCLAIMER: Mt. Apo has a yearly closure from June to August. Please be advised that tours to Mt. Apo will not be available during these months.
Tour Information: This private tour is available daily. Trek is designed for advance/experienced trekkers who can endure long trekking hours. Meals and any activities that are not specifically mentioned in the list of inclusions are not yet included.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you within Cavite or NCR at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. To arrange for a private hotel pick-up and drop-off, please email booking@guidetothephilippines.ph. Additional transportation fees apply.
Tour Proper: Please be reminded also to dress appropriately. Be mindful of your personal belongings during the tour.
Children Friendly: Yes! Prepare his or her medical certificate (fit to climb)
Pet Friendly: No. Please understand that the establishment does not allow pets inside.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: No. Unless given permission by a licensed doctor senior citizens and PWDs are not encouraged to partake in this activity as this is a medium to extreme activity.
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
