Embark on an epic journey to the majestic Mt. Apo in Davao with this exhilarating 3-day hiking tour via Sta. Cruz Trail. Tailored for beginners who want to take it easy and enjoy every step of the trek, this Mt. Apo hike tour package offers accommodation pick-up and drop-off (within Davao City), guide and porter assistance, climb permits and fees, and a climb certificate. Please note that meals, tips, gratuities, and additional activities are not included in the package.
Get ready for an exciting start to your Mt, Apo hike as you meet your driver at 5 AM. They will pick you up from your accommodations and transport you comfortably to the jump-off point at Sitio Baruring via Digos-Kapatagan Road. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
After arriving in Kapatagan, take the opportunity to purchase a delicious packed lunch and enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the upcoming trek. After a short break, you'll head to the Baruring trail, which has an elevation of 1,141 meters above sea level. Prepare yourself for an exhilarating trek as you venture through Colan and Tumpis and are surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty. Take your time to savor a satisfying lunch along the trail, immersing yourself in the breathtaking scenery.
By approximately 3 PM, you'll arrive at Tinikaran Camp, where you'll set up your tent and enjoy a delightful dinner. As the sun begins to set, take in the serene atmosphere of the mountains and prepare for a restful night.
At 3:30 AM the next day, begin your ascent to the summit via a route that will pass through boulders, a mini rock tower, the Gabroq E-Camp, and Botoy's Ridge, or 87 degrees. Arriving at the entrance to the boulders, continue your journey to the boulders breakfast area, where you can enjoy a hearty meal while witnessing the mesmerizing sunrise.
Resume your climb at 7 AM, reaching the summit's Center Peak by 11 AM. Indulge in a well-deserved lunch and take in the breathtaking views. Afterward, descend back to the campsite, where you can rest and recharge. Enjoy a delicious dinner at 6:30 PM, and with lights off afterward, prepare for a peaceful night's sleep.
On the last day, wake up to a 5 AM call and prepare breakfast and packed lunch. By 7:30 AM, break camp and start your journey back to Tumpis. Reach Tumpis by 10 AM, Baruring by 11 AM, and have a satisfying lunch in Kapatagan at 12 NN. Finally, arrive in Davao City by 3 PM, concluding your memorable Mt. Apo expedition.

Day 1 - Day 1: Pick-up and Trek to Camp Site

Continue your journey to the boulders Breakfast area, where you can enjoy a hearty meal accompanied by the captivating sight of sunrise. Resume your climb at 7 AM, reaching the Center Peak of the summit by 11 AM. Eat lunch while immersing yourself in the breathtaking panoramic views. Descend back to the campsite, allowing for rest and rejuvenation. Savor a delicious dinner at 6:30 PM, and with lights off, prepare for a peaceful night's sleep as you are surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains.
Day 3 - Day 3: Return to Davao City
Day 3 begins with a wake-up call at 5 AM, signaling the start of the final phase of your Mt. Apo expedition. Take the opportunity at 6 AM to prepare a nourishing breakfast and pack a satisfying lunch while ensuring you have enough water for the journey ahead. At 7:30 AM, break camp and commence your return to Tumpis. By 10 AM, you'll reach Tumpis, marking a significant milestone in your trek. Continuing your descent, you'll arrive at Baruring by 11 AM. At 12 NN, relish a well-deserved lunch in Kapatagan, savoring the flavors of a gratifying meal. You'll then head back to Davao City and arrive at approximately 3 PM.

Tour Information: This private tour is available daily. Trek is designed for advance/experienced trekkers who can endure long trekking hours. Meals and any activities that are not specifically mentioned in the list of inclusions are not yet included.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you within Cavite or NCR at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. To arrange for a private hotel pick-up and drop-off, please email booking@guidetothephilippines.ph. Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: No. Unless given permission by a licensed doctor senior citizens and PWDs are not encouraged to partake in this activity as this is a medium to extreme activity.
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
