Explore El Nido’s majestic caves and one of its stunning sandbars with this island-hopping tour. This package will take you to El Nido’s Cudugnon Cave, Snake Island, and Cathedral Cave. It also includes van and boat transfers, hotel pick-up and drop-off, and the service of a guide.
To kick off the adventure, you will be picked up from your accommodation in El Nido. You will then make your way to the floating docks to board a boat. From there, you will sail to the Cudugnon Cave, which is nestled on a serene beach. This cavern contains large stalactites and towering rock formations. The cave is also an important archeological site. It was formerly a Neolithic burial site or a natural catacomb for locals and settlers from Borneo.
From the cave, you will head next to Snake Island. It got its name because of its curving sandbar. It is best to visit when the tide is low, so you can stroll along the sandbar while taking in the beautiful stretches of water on either side. Besides swimming or snorkeling in the sea, you can also trek up the island to get a panoramic view of the ocean and its neighboring islands.
Lastly, you will visit the Cathedral Cave situated at the edge of Pinasil Island. The cavern's grand opening is found between two limestone walls and leads to a beautiful interior filled with natural chandeliers and glittering stalactite and stalagmite formations. There are also rock formations that look like pipe organs, contributing to the overall resemblance of the cave to a cathedral.
