Go on a minor hike up Batangas’ Mt. Gulugod Baboy and cool off at Bato sa Buhangin Beach Resort with this day tour. This tour already comes with the assistance of a guide, transfers from and to Metro Manila or Cavite, coffee, lunch with drinks, a personalized event bag tag, and registration, environmental, and entrance fees. This day tour is suitable for beginners and first-timers.
If you are coming from Metro Manila or Cavite, you will be picked up from your accommodation for free (1 pickup point only), but for an additional fee, you may also be picked up from Batangas, Laguna, Quezon, North Luzon, or Central Luzon. To make sure you make it to your stops on time, you will be picked up the night before your actual tour.
Once you are picked up, you’ll head to your jump-off point in Mabini, Batangas. Here you’ll have early breakfast (at your own expense), register, and listen to the briefing from the guides. At around 4 AM, you will start your hike up Mt. Gulugod Baboy. You should reach the summit just in time to catch the sunrise. At 525 meters above sea level, the summit will reward you with breathtaking views of Batangas Bay and Balayan Bay.
After your Gulugod Baboy hiking activity, you’ll head to the public market, where you can buy food and other supplies (at your own expense). Once you have everything you need, you’ll head to Bato sa Buhangin Beach Resort. You’ll spend the rest of your day here, so feel free to swim, take pictures, or just enjoy the beach resort and its facilities and amenities. Your lunch here comes with water, soft drinks, and fruits for dessert.
Before heading back to your point of origin, you can shower at the resort. If you get hungry on the way back, you also have the option to have dinner on the way (at your own expense).

Tour Information: This private tour is available daily. We highly advise that hikers wear comfortable hiking shoes or sandals. If you don't have hiking shoes, running shoes will do but please avoid wearing slippers. Trekking pants and shorts, leggings, or jogging pants for the bottom garment. Avoid denim pants or skinny jeans as they might restrict your movement. Use a dry-fit shirt or rash guard and avoid wearing cotton shirts. Guests may opt to bring a cap, arm sleeves, or head buff to help protect from sunburn and a pair of gloves to be used in climbing up the rock formation: ordinary, gym, garden gloves will do- this is available at the jump-off point for 50php per pair.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you within Cavite or NCR at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour. Pet Friendly: No. Please understand that the establishment does not allow pets inside.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: There may be a medium to extreme activity so we suggest to consult with your physician before proceeding with your booking and secure a medical certificate (Fit to climb)
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
