Description
Summary
Description
Travel to Bulacan and go on a hike up Mount Secret with this minor day hike. The hike will also take you to the White Rock Formation, Malangaan Cave, and Malangaan Spring, so it’s perfect for those who want to explore several of Bulacan’s tourist spots in one go. It also comes with air-conditioned van transfers, pick-up and drop-off from and to 1 point of origin in Metro Manila, tour guide assistance, and, if available, the use of a GoPro8 and a drone.
To make sure you reach the summit of Mount Secret in the morning, you’ll leave the designated pick-up point in Metro Manila at midnight. Your driver will pick you up, and once you have settled inside the van, you’ll head to the jump-off point, where you’ll have breakfast, register, and be briefed by your guide. After the briefing, you’ll begin your trek to the summit of Mount Secret. Also known as the Hidden Mountain of Bulacan, this mountain is 376 meters above sea level, making it a good climb for beginner hikers. After reaching the summit, you’ll be rewarded with views of Bulacan province and, if the weather is clear, Mount Arayat from a distance.
After taking in the views and snapping photos, you’ll head to the White Rock Formation. The majestic rock formations here are perfect for travel photos. Next, you’ll head to Malangaan Cave. The natural cave is said to be once the hiding place of guerillas during World War II. The cave itself is cool and provides visitors shade from the sun.
Your last stop for the day is Malangaan Spring. The cool waters here are perfect for a refreshing dip, especially after a morning of trekking. You can also have lunch at your own expense here. You’ll then head back to the jump-off point so you can wash up before heading back to Metro Manila.
