Rizal Mt. Batolusong & Sangab Cave and River Minor Day Hike with Transfers from Manila

Your outdoor adventure starts around midnight when your guide fetches you from your chosen pick-up point in Metro Manila. You will then reach the jump-off point in Rizal before dawn, giving you some time to register and enjoy an early breakfast if you packed food. Afterward, you will begin the ascent to the summit. 

For the first parts of the journey, you will trek through open fields and paths bordered by tall grass. It is best to get a head start to avoid the heat of the sun. As you continue the climb, you will take a break at Duhatan Ridge. After a short rest, you'll resume the trek to Mapatag Plateau. 

This spot features open spaces where you can get a scenic view of the neighboring ridges and feel the breeze on your skin. Feel free to catch your breath here and snap a couple of photos before finally making the final ascent to the summit. After passing through a thick bamboo forest and conquering a steep incline, you will find yourselves at the summit, which is also called Rangyas Peak. 

The summit stands at about 883 meters above sea level and provides a panoramic view of the green hills nearby. Following a short break here, you will head back down. On the way to the jump-off point, you will stop by the Sangab Cave and River to swim in its cool waters. Aside from rewarding yourself with a refreshing dip in the river, you may also eat lunch by the riverside. 

Finally, you will continue the descent until you arrive at the jump-off point. Feel free to freshen up and change before you are driven back to Metro Manila.
