Description

Go on an outdoor adventure in Rizal province with this day tour that will take you to Mt. Daraitan and Tinipak River. Mt. Daraitan is generally considered a beginner-friendly hike, making this the perfect trip for travelers who want to try hiking. The package also includes transportation from and to Manila, the service of a guide, a personalized souvenir bag tag, and all necessary fees.

Your hiking trip begins in the late evening when the designated driver fetches you from your accommodation or chosen pick-up point within Metro Manila or Cavite (1 pickup point only). When you arrive in Rizal, you will drive to Barangay Daraitan and have the option to eat an early breakfast. Meals are not included in the package, so make sure to pack your own for the hike. After eating, you will register and listen to a briefing on safety regulations at the jump-off point. When the quick lecture is done, you will start your ascent to the summit.

The trail to the peak cuts through thick tropical forests that cover the mountain. As you continue climbing, you will also pass by limestone formations, streams, and the Tinipak River. When you finally arrive at the summit, you can take the time to rest and snap a few photos of the scenic view of the surrounding landscape. Following your break at the peak, you will head back down. During your descent, you will also stop by Heart Peak. This spot overlooks the river and features a heart-shaped wooden platform that you can sit on, hence its name.

This heart-shaped platform is a popular spot for picture taking, so feel free to rest and snap a couple more shots here before continuing your descent. Afterward, you will travel back to Tinipak River to take a dip in its cool waters. You will also be given free time to swim or simply relax by the water. When you're rested, you will return to the jump-off point, where you can wash up or shower before leaving Rizal.

Explore Mt. Daraitan and swim in Tinipak River by booking this adventure-filled day tour. Check availability by choosing a date.
