Description

Explore Siargao and its culture virtually when you book this online class and tour package. If you're planning to visit the surfing spot and teardrop-shaped island in the near future, this bundle is perfect for you, as it comes with 4 60-minute sessions that will help you get acquainted with Siargao. You'll join three classes on Siargao's language, history and traditions, and cuisine and participate in a virtual tour of its top tourist attractions.

The schedule of your sessions is flexible, and you may have one session a day for 4 days in a row, every other day, or once a week. Just remember to give your instructor enough notice should you need to reschedule. Once your schedule is finalized, you will receive a link to a Zoom meeting which will serve as the host of your sessions.

Your first class is about Tagalog, one of the major languages in the Philippines, spoken in Metro Manila and other parts of the country. In this class, your instructor will teach you the basics of the language so you can introduce yourself and ask for help when needed.

Next, you'll join a class that tackles Siargao's history and traditions. The small island is known as the surfing capital of the Philippines, and this, as well as the laid-back demeanor of its locals, have contributed to its distinct culture.

You'll learn all about Siargao's food in your third class. There are many great restaurants on the island where you can try local favorites like sayongsong, a rice cake wrapped in banana leaves, and kinilaw, a local version of ceviche.

Of course, you can't end your sessions without going on a virtual tour of Siargao's top tourist spots. You'll see stunning islands, hidden lagoons, enchanting tide pools, and the surf spots that are famous the world over. After the tour, feel free to ask your guide questions that can help you create your Siargao itinerary, such as where to stay, where to eat, or what to do.

Go on an online excursion and get to know the island of Siargao with this package. Check the availability by choosing a date.
