Immerse yourself in the tropical atmosphere of El Nido by booking this historical island-hopping tour. Besides visiting the beautiful white sand shore of Snake Island, travelers will also visit historical sites around Lagen Island and Seven Commandos Beach. This package includes van and boat transfers, hotel pick-up and drop-off, and the service of a guide.
Your tour will start with a van picking you up from your accommodation within El Nido. Next, your guide will take you to the floating docks to board a boat suited for island-hopping. From here, you will then sail to Snake Island. This destination gets its name from its curving sandbar. The best time to visit is during low tide, when the sandbar can be fully seen.
After strolling along the sandbar, you will make your way to one of three caves near Lagen Island. Depending on the crowds, you may choose to explore the Cathedral Cave, Cudugnon Cave, or the Lagen Cave. These spacious caverns are all situated between karst walls and house several stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Finally, you will sail to Seven Commandos Beach. This island is believed to have been a refuge for seven Japanese soldiers after World War II, hence its name. It isn’t hard to imagine why these soldiers spent time here since this beach boasts fine white sand and tall coconut trees.
Its pristine waters also make it an ideal spot for snorkeling so you can get a better look at the rich marine life it has to offer. Following your time on the island, your guide will escort you back to your hotel.
