This package is only available on weekends, and your trip begins on Friday night. You need to head to one of the pick-up points in Manila. If you want to be picked up at the North Wing of SM Mall of Asia (near KFC and Taste Asia), you need to be there by 10 PM. If you want to wait at Greenfield (near Wendy’s), you should be there by 11 PM. Otherwise, you must be at Eton Centris (near McDonald’s) by 11:30 PM.
Once you have settled in the vehicle, make yourself comfortable as you will be traveling through the night. Your estimated arrival time in La Union is 6 AM on Saturday, and your first stop is Tangadan Falls, where you can enjoy a morning dip that is sure to wake you up. You’ll spend some time here before drying off and continuing with your itinerary for the day.
You’ll visit more attractions, including Namacpacan Church, Pebble Beach, Bato De Luna, Pitpitac Man-Made Forest, and Immuki Island. After a whole morning and afternoon of touring, you will check in to your lodging and take a brief rest before heading to Flotsam and Jetsam, where you can enjoy dinner (at your own expense) and get to know your fellow travelers.
On Sunday, you will check out at 8 AM so you can continue exploring more of La Union’s tourist spots. You’ll try surfing in San Juan and tour spots like the Ma-cho Temple, Pagoda Hill, the Poro Point Lighthouse, Thunderbird Resort, a Grapes Farm, and the Agoo Basilica de Minore. Before heading back to Manila, you will drop by the Dried Fish Pasalubong shop so you can purchase delicacies that you can bring home.

Day 1 - Day 1: Arrival + Tours + Check-In
The night before your arrival in La Union, you need to meet up with your tour group in Manila. You will then embark on an overnight road trip to La Union.
After you arrive in La Union on Saturday morning, you will begin exploring the province. Your first stop is Tangadan Falls, a picturesque cascade flowing through limestone cliffs and boulders. You can take a refreshing swim here to start your day. Other outdoor attractions you will be seeing on this trip include Pebble Beach, the Baluarte Tower, the Pitpitac Man-Made Forest, and Immuki Island, where you can swim in several lagoons.
You’ll also be learning a bit about La Union’s history and culture when you visit Namacpacan Church, which is officially known as the Church of Santa Catalina de Alejandria. It is a declared National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines. You will also stop at Bato de Luna, an art gallery featuring quirky stone sculptures.
After your tour, you’ll check in and rest at your accommodations before heading to Flotsam and Jetsam for dinner and a nightcap.
Day 2 - Day 2: Checkout + Tour + Departure
After checking out Sunday morning, you’ll continue exploring La Union. Get ready to test the waves as you try surfing in San Juan before heading to Ma-cho Temple, the first Taoist temple in the Philippines. Here you’ll find its famous 11-tier spider-type dome made with interlinking wood carvings of different saints.
You’ll then continue to explore more outdoor attractions, including Pagoda Hill, the Poro Point Lighthouse, and the Grapes Farm. Thunderbird Resort is also on the itinerary, as well as the Agoo Basilica De Minore, which is officially known as the Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Charity.
Your last stop for the day is the Dried Fish Pasalubong center, where you can buy fish products and other items you can bring home. Afterward, you’ll make your way back to Manila and arrive just before a new week starts.

Tour Information: This shared tour is available from Saturday to Sunday only, pick up during Fridays; (private tour is available daily). Entrances of the tourist spots such as Thunderbird Resort, Tangadan Falls, Immuki Island, Bato De Luna, and the Surfing Activity are not yet included.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at Mall of Asia (MOA) by 10:00 PM/Greenfields at Wendys by 11:00 PM/ Eton Centris (McDonalds) at 11:30PM. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. To arrange for a private hotel pick-up and drop-off, please email booking@guidetothephilippines.ph. Additional transportation fees apply.

Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
