Description

Discover the beautiful and rich heritage of the Philippines by spending a day at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan. As one of the most unique resorts in the country, a trip here is perfect for anyone looking for a new experience while learning more about the Philippines. This day tour includes shared hotel pick-up and drop-off within select cities, a heritage walking tour, access to the property's beach and Hotel Oriente, one calesa ride, a map of the vicinity, a cold towel, and the service of a guide. In addition, you will also have the option to go on a river cruise or get PhP500 worth of dining credits per traveler.

On the day of your tour, the guide will fetch you from your accommodation within Manila or Makati City. You will then travel to Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan province. Once you arrive, you will set out on your walking heritage tour. Listen to your guide as you walk past the different ancestral homes on the property to better understand how Filipinos lived during the Spanish colonial era. Afterward, you will participate in some workshops to see how the local artisans create their crafts.

You can then go on a calesa ride through this 400-hectare park. A calesa is a two-wheeled horse-drawn carriage that served as the main mode of transportation back in the Spanish colonial period. Dive even deeper into history by visiting Hotel de Oriente. This replica of the historic hotel was originally constructed in Binondo in Manila City and was the premier luxury accommodation in the Philippines during the Spanish period.

You may also relax at the beach to soak up the sun. Set up a beach blanket on the sand and feel the ocean breeze brush your face as you chill. You can then end your day with a leisurely cruise along the property's river or instead avail of the dining credits to taste classic Filipino dishes in the park's restaurants.

Experience living in the Spanish colonial era of the Philippines by booking this heritage day tour at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. Check the availability by choosing a date.
