Description

See some of the top tourist spots in the capital of the Philippines with this tour of Binondo, the oldest Chinatown in the world, and Intramuros, the walled city in Manila. This shared tour is perfect for those who want to learn more about Filipino-Chinese culture and check out both Binondo and Intramuros tourist spots. It is inclusive of a DOT-accredited tour guide, entrance fees, coordinator and photographer assistance, a disposable raincoat (if it rains), and premium van transfers with pick-up and drop-off.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Metro Manila or Cavite in the morning. Your tour guide will brief you on the itinerary for the day, which will include tourist spots in both Binondo and Intramuros

You will start with a visit to Quiapo Church, one of the most famous churches in the metro. Afterward, you will visit Bahay Nakpil, an ancestral home found in the district of Quiapo, Manila. You will then visit Binondo Church, which was originally built for Chinese converts.

Next, you will have lunch at Cafe Mezzanine at your own expense. It is an upscale Binondo restaurant serving oriental dishes such as xiao long bao and chop suey. You will also visit Eng Bee Tin, a Chinese deli shop famous for its hopia, tikoy, and mooncake products.

You will then go on a rolling tour of the House of General Luna, the birthplace of revolutionary Philippine hero Antonio Luna. Afterward, you will go to Intramuros and visit its top tourist sites like Casa Manila, San Agustin Church, Manila Cathedral, and Fort Santiago.

Spanish colonial-style architecture is replicated in Casa Manila. It contains antique furniture and decor with Philippine, Chinese, and European roots. San Agustin Church and Manila Cathedral, on the other hand, are both historical churches in Intramuros. Lastly, Fort Santiago is one of the oldest fortifications in Manila.

After the tour, your assigned driver will pick you up and drop you off at your accommodations in Metro Manila or Cavite.
