Experience scuba diving for the first time through this Discover scuba diving tour in Coron, Palawan, one of the best diving destinations in the Philippines. As the course covers all the basics of diving, this is perfect for anyone interested in learning the ropes and exploring crystal waters. The tour comes with the service of an instructor, boat service, the use of all necessary dive equipment and tank, plus lunch and drinks. Take note that entrance fees to dive sites and transfers from and to your accommodations are not included.
Once you arrive at the Skylodge Resort Dive Shop, you will go through a classroom session with a seasoned instructor to learn the basics of scuba diving. During this session, you will cover topics like the function of each piece of scuba equipment, how to move underwater with your gear, and how to breathe underwater with your oxygen tank. Afterward, you will put on your scuba suit and the rest of the equipment and head out to practice the basics.
You will practice on shallow waters on how to move underwater and communicate with your instructor while diving. When you're comfortable with your ability to move with your gear underwater, you'll hop on a boat and cruise to the dive site.
You will be diving in a Coron wreck dive site. The options are Olympia Maru, Morazan Maru, Kogyo Maru, Iraku Maru, Akitsushima, and Okikawa Maru. These dive sites have different depths, but the allowable depth for this dive is only 18 meters. The dive site is determined on the day of diving and depends on the weather and availability.
During your dive, you are free to explore within the depth limit, but always make sure to follow the instructions and guidelines of your instructor. After the dive, you will be taken back to the mainland so you can continue exploring Coron on your own.

Tour Information: This is a private tour.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address or mobile number. Please keep all communication lines open. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready.
On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel within Coron Town Proper, at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to start of the tour. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited.
Tour Proper: Please be reminded also to dress appropriately. All guests are expected to do their share in ensuring their safety and security as well as that of their personal belongings. Guide to the Philippines and Tour Operators are not liable for the loss or damage to any personal belongings left unattended during the tour.
Recommended minimum preflight surface interval is 24 hours. Not recommended for divers taking maintenance drugs. A Fit to Dive Consent Form from a physician is strictly required for divers taking maintenance drugs.
Pre-Dive Orientation - All divers are required to arrive at Skylodge dive shop on or before 0715H PST for pre-dive orientation and health assessment.
Dive Sites - Dive site/s are determined before or on the dive day depending on weather.
Marine Life Sightings - Given that marine life is not stationary, sightings may vary at the time of diving.
Children Friendly: Minimum age to dive is 14 years old.
Pet Friendly: No. Please understand that the establishment does not allow pets inside.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: Yes. However, please be advised that this tour includes moderate activity underwater that may not be suitable for PWDs or individuals with existing cardiovascular ailments.
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
