Sharpen your scuba diving skills on the pristine island of Coron, Palawan, through this specialty course. This Coron diving package is a perfect experience for divers who want to do a specialty course. For this private tour, you can choose the default refresher dive course to get back up to speed or opt for a Nitrox dive for an additional fee. Along with the assistance of an instructor, the PADI refresher course is already inclusive of the necessary rental equipment, like oxygen tanks and fins. Drinks are also included.
If you choose the PADI scuba refresher course, your day will start at 8 AM at the Skylodge Dive Shop, where you'll go over the basics with your instructor. After running through the basics with your instructor, you will head to the pool to review your skills while underwater. Once you've put on the scuba diving equipment, plunge into the water and practice how to maneuver in the water again. Make sure to keep an eye on your instructor to notice any cues or signals they may give while you dive in the pool.
An open-water diving certificate and diving experience are required to determine the level of the refresher course. If there are any specific skills you may have forgotten from your last dive, feel free to ask your instructor about them. Once complete, you'll be ready for recreational dives again (open-water dives not included).
For the Nitrox dive course, which you can take for an additional fee, the package includes lunch, drinks, five open-water dives with Nitrox tanks, Nitrox diving certification, boat service, the assistance of an English-speaking dive guide, and the rental for all dive equipment and tanks.
Nitrox diving involves using a breathing gas mixture with a higher oxygen content (typically 32% or 36%) compared to regular air (21% oxygen). This will allow you to extend your bottom time at certain depths or shorten surface intervals between dives.

Tour Information: This is a private tour.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address or mobile number. Please keep all communication lines open. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready.
On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel within Coron Town Proper, at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to start of the tour. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited.
Tour Proper: Please be reminded also to dress appropriately. All guests are expected to do their share in ensuring their safety and security as well as that of their personal belongings. Guide to the Philippines and Tour Operators are not liable for the loss or damage to any personal belongings left unattended during the tour.
Open water diving certificate and diving experience are required to determine level of refresher course. Recommended minimum preflight surface interval is 24 hours. Not recommended for divers taking maintenance drugs. A Fit to Dive Consent Form from a physician is strictly required for divers taking maintenance drugs.
Pre-Dive Orientation - All divers are required to arrive at Skylodge dive shop on or before 0715H PST for pre-dive orientation and health assessment.
Dive Sites - Dive site/s are determined before or on the dive day depending on weather.
Marine Life Sightings - Given that marine life is not stationary, sightings may vary at the time of diving.
Dive Equipment (Add-on) - You may add a dive computer which provides the real-time dive information you need to dive well. A dive computer takes depth and time information and applies it to a decompression model to track the dissolved nitrogen in your body during a dive. Your computer continuously tells you how much dive time you safely have remaining.

Children Friendly: Minimum age to dive is 14 years old.
Pet Friendly: No. Please understand that the establishment does not allow pets inside.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: Yes. However, please be advised that this tour includes moderate activity underwater that may not be suitable for PWDs or individuals with existing cardiovascular ailments.
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
