Description
Take gorgeous photos for your Instagram feed by joining this shared tour of Manila’s top Instagrammable attractions. This tour is perfect for art enthusiasts wanting to explore beautiful places in the city with their friends, family, or fellow art lovers. The tour includes the service of a guide and roundtrip transfers from Manila Bay and Makati. For a more personal experience, you can also upgrade to a private tour with the same itinerary.
Your tour will start at 1:30 PM when you get picked up from your agreed-upon meeting point within Manila Bay or Makati. You will then head to Bonifacio Global City, also known as BGC, where you will see a handful of art and murals painted on the sides of buildings and local shops. Since 2014, street art and murals have been popping up all over BGC, making the area more vibrant and colorful.
After hunting for the best murals in BGC, you’ll head to Venice Grand Canal Mall in Taguig City. This mall opened in 2015 and is inspired by the world-renowned canals of Venice in Italy. Along with its Italian-inspired architecture, the shopping center even features gondolas that you can ride! Following your time in this upscale mall, you’ll head to the Walled City of Intramuros in Manila City for a heritage tour.
Intramuros is the historic center of the Philippines and is the oldest district in Manila. It is home to grand churches, post-war landmarks, art galleries, hotels, and restaurants. The walled city is where Manila’s most prominent and rich people lived during the Spanish colonial period. Here, you will explore tourist attractions like Fort Santiago, Baluarte de San Diego, and the Church of San Agustin.
After exploring Intramuros, you will then make your way to the Manila Chinatown Arch, located in the world's oldest Chinatown. You’ll then visit the William A. Jones Memorial Bridge or Jones Bridge. The original bridge was designed by Filpino architect Juan M. Arellano but was destroyed during World War II. The bridge standing today is the result of several reconstructions and restorations. Your last stop for this tour is the neoclassical Manila Central Post Office, another creation of Arellano.
After your tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel (limited to Manila Bay and Makati areas only) or the designated drop-off area.
