Known as the City of Pines, Baguio City is one of the top vacation spots in the Philippines. As the country’s summer capital, it is home to popular tourist attractions like Burnham Park, Wright Park, Baguio Botanical Garden, and the Mansion House. With its chilly pine-scented breeze, sweet strawberries, and scenic mountain views, it’s a great place to escape the humidity of lowland areas.
Tourists never leave empty-handed and bring home iconic Baguio treats like Good Shepherd ube jam, artisan strawberry jams, Sagada coffee, pastries from the public market, and raisin bread from the Baguio Country Club bakeshop. It has a thriving artist community as seen from places like Tam-awan Village, Ifugao Woodcarvers' Village, and the BenCab museum.

Day 1 - Day 1: Arrival + Check-in
When you get to your Baguio accommodations, settle into your room after checking in at the receptionist’s counter. After getting to your assigned room, you can spend the rest of the day using the hotel’s facilities and going out to explore the city at your own leisure.
Among the best things you can try during your free time here is visiting the famous Burnham Park. This spacious area located in the city is best known for its lush gardens and its lake, where you can ride small paddle boats and swan-shaped ones. In the evening, you can head to Harrison Road, which is just northeast of Burnham Park, to go bargain hunting at the Baguio Night Market. A section of the road turns into a flea market with great deals from 9 PM and usually lasts up until 2 AM.
Day 2 - Day 2: Full-day Forest Bathing and Wellness Tour with Transfers
Savor the chilly weather and head over to the hotel restaurant for your complimentary breakfast. After your meal, get ready to spend the rest of the day enjoying the fresh mountain air starting with your forest bathing activity at Camp John Hay. The concept of forest bathing is a Japanese phenomenon where participants go on a leisurely stroll in a place surrounded by tall trees and lush greenery. Known as shinrin-yoku in Japan, it translates to "taking in the forest atmosphere." This relaxing activity is said to help reduce blood pressure, lessen stress, eliminate insomnia, and improve your ability to focus.
Together with a tour guide, you’ll follow the eco-trail starting from Le Monet Hotel, and continue to walk through 9 checkpoints along a 2 KM road that includes the Yellow Trail, Blue Trail, and US Embassy Gate. Aside from the pine trees, rugged terrain, and lush greenery, keep your eyes open for towering stones, bamboo chimes, and energy rocks. These are art installations created by talented local artists, some of which are said to be infused with good energy that will benefit anyone who touches it. After a refreshing trek among pine trees, you'll enjoy a traditional massage at a Wellness Spa Treatment facility in Camp John Hay.
Day 3 - Day 3: Departure
On the morning of your last day in the City of Pines, you can wake up early to squeeze in a few more side trips before leaving. If you’re willing to wake up before sunrise, you can head to the Mines View Park Observation Deck at around 5 AM. At this time, a sea of clouds usually envelops the lower portions of the surrounding mountain ranges, making for a breathtaking scene.
You can also visit the nearby stores for locally made souvenirs that are usually crafted out of wood. Afterward, you can head back to the hotel for your complimentary breakfast before packing your things. When you’re good to go, you can check out of the hotel and prepare to head home.
