This Cebu pilgrimage tour begins when you are picked up from your accommodation and driven to Basilica de Sto. Niño for your first stop. The Basilica Minore Del Sto. Niño is Cebu's oldest Catholic Church. The church contains an image of the Sto. Niño, the city's patron saint.
From the basilica, you will head to Pedro Calungsod Chapel. The chapel, which was originally devoted to Mary, was built in the aftermath of St. Pedro Calungsod's canonization in 2012. Its most distinguishing feature is its one hundred walls, which stand at various heights and widths, creating the illusion of transparency when viewed from a certain angle.
Following that, you will go to the Simala Shrine, where thousands of devotees flock to witness the Monastery of the Holy Eucharist and the various sculptures of the Virgin Mary. The church is well-known among Christians since it houses the miraculous Virgin and the Monks of Maria.
Next, you will go to Capilla de Sta. Ana. William Overs, and his wife, both Toledo natives, own the private chapel and museum. As they traveled around Europe, they collected holy artifacts and Renaissance artworks for the fully air-conditioned chapel.
The Labyrinth, a 25-meter-diameter pathway with a complex design that is difficult to navigate, is located next to the church. The labyrinth is used for meditation. relaxation and rosary recitation. Pray and contemplate before heading back to your accommodation.
