Description

Discover the variety of marine life in the waters of Boracay, one of the best islands in the world, in this introductory dive activity. If you are curious about scuba diving but don't have the time to do the full certification course, this tour package is for you.

You will meet up with your guide and be given more information about the activity before the actual dive. You can choose to go at 9 AM or 1 PM. If your trip is during the Amihan season (usually from mid-November to May), your guide will be waiting at White Beach's Station 1, in front of Astoria Boracay. If you're visiting during Habagat season (usually from June to mid-November), you need to meet your guide at Bulabog Beach. You will also be asked to fill out an information sheet regarding your health, which is an essential part of the intro dive. Note that this dive must be done more than 24 hours before and after a flight.

Once you are cleared to do the activity, a certified Professional Association of Diving Instructors or PADI instructor will meet up with you. The instructor will teach you basic scuba diving principles, safety guidelines, and other things you need to know to enjoy the intro dive.

You will also be shown the equipment you will use, including the wetsuit, buoyancy control device, and fins. You will then choose the size that best fits your frame.

After being matched with the right gear, you will go with your instructor to shallow waters to practice what you have learned. You will be taught, for example, how to use the regulator and what to do to clear your mask underwater.

You will also learn other key skills that you will use during the dive, including how to equalize pressure. When you are ready, your instructor will take you to deeper waters where you can experience how to move around underwater. Your instructor will also take underwater photos and videos of your dive. You may request a copy of these afterward.

You will enjoy diving for 30 minutes, and when you're done, you will be taken back to the shore so you can enjoy the rest of your day in Boracay on your own.

Get ready to discover the underwater treasures of Boracay with this one-day introductory dive. Check the availability by choosing a date.
