Explore the unspoiled beaches and islands of Siargao by joining this day tour. This trip is perfect for those who want to visit lesser-known attractions in Siargao like Dahican Beach, Kampayas Island, Pagbasayan Island, Kangkangon Island, and Poneas Lake. This tour is inclusive of hotel pick-up and drop-off, boat transfers, and service of a guide.
You will be picked up at your accommodation within General Luna early in the morning. After the quick road trip, you will find yourself in the town’s harbor, where a pump boat awaits. The boat will then take you to your first stopover, Dahican Beach.
Dahican Beach is a two-hectare attraction surrounded by a long and expansive length of beautiful white sand. It is home to a broad range of Mangrove species, some of which are hundreds of years old. While in here, you can go swim in its clear blue waters or laze around the sandy beach.
From there, you will visit Kampayas Island. Also known as the Vanishing Island, the sandbar dissolves during high tide and reappears during low tide. It is surrounded by crystal-clear blue seas and is made up of powdered white sand, making it a must-visit attraction. You may relax on the beach and take in the scenic views, or you can take a brief plunge in the cold waters.
You will then proceed to Pagbasayan Island, an island with 4.8 hectares of white sand bordered by a seaweed plantation. Its shallow, clean waters are ideal for swimming in, especially for kids. You will have your lunch here at your own expense.
After your lunch, you will proceed to a journey to Kangkangon Island. This island is a tropical paradise with beautiful white sand and clear waters, and it is home to a vibrant marine life. You can take a dip or go snorkeling to explore the island’s underwater paradise.
Afterward, you will proceed to your last destination, Poneas Island. Once you reach the island, you will climb up a hill toward the mysterious Poneas Lake. The route is very short but steep, and it is mostly covered with palm trees, boulders, and dense woods. After the hike, you'll be rewarded with the mystical atmosphere of the lake, which is surrounded by nothing but nature. Feel free to plunge into the cold water to cool down or try various activities like the rope swing before heading back to the mainland.
