This activity starts at 6 PM and will last around two hours. Meet up with your guide and instructor at the Fox & The Firefly Cottages, which is located along the Loboc River. Make sure to be there by 5:30 PM to avoid any delays.
After a brief introduction, your instructor will hand you your board and paddle so you can proceed with your basic ASI (Academy of Surfing) flat water and open water stand up paddleboard lesson. During this lesson, you will familiarize yourself with the stand up paddle board equipment and then learn about the basics of the activity. This includes boarding and getting off the paddle board, as well as the best way to maneuver the board in the water.
Once you are ready, you will set out to explore the Loboc River. Your instructor and guide will always be nearby should you need assistance. During this night tour of Loboc River, you will stop near mangrove trees on the river banks to get a closer look at the fireflies that light their branches up. If you have a camera with you, make sure not to use flash to avoid disturbing the fireflies. Observe the fireflies from afar and avoid getting too close to the trees.
Apart from the fireflies, you will also be treated to a gorgeous view of the night sky. Since there is less light pollution in this area, you will be able to see more stars here, so don’t forget to look up!
When your two hours are over, you will head back to the Fox & Firefly Cottages and return your board and paddle so you can then explore the rest of Bohol on your own.

Tour Information: This shared tour is available daily at 06:00PM.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address or mobile number. Please keep all communication lines open. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready.
On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at Fox & The Firefly Cottages, Loboc, Bohol at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. To arrange for a private hotel pick-up and drop-off, please email booking@guidetothephilippines.ph. Additional transportation fees apply.
Tour Proper: Please be reminded also to dress appropriately. All guests are expected to do their share in ensuring their safety and security as well as that of their personal belongings. Guide to the Philippines and Tour Operators are not liable for the loss or damage to any personal belongings left unattended during the tour.

Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. Guests are entitled to reschedule the tour booking to another day for once only and within a year from the payment date. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
