Your Batanes tour begins with the convenience of accommodation pick-up, ensuring a hassle-free start to your journey. You will be riding a Cogon roofed tricycle, a traditional transportation in Batanes with an open-air design, so you can feel the fresh breeze while admiring the stunning surroundings as you go on your adventure. On your first day, you will embark on a North Batan tour, where you will visit some of the popular Bata tourist spots in the north. As you go along the winding roads, your tour guide will provide insightful information, and will share stories about the history, folklore, and local customs of Batanes.
The North Batan tour will take you to Tukon Chapel, a chapel built on top of a hill, and to PAGASA Basco Weather Station. You’ll also visit Didawud Idjang to see a stunning view of the rock formation. You'll also stop at the World War II Japanese Hideout Tunnel, a hiding spot made out of volcanic rocks for Japanese soldiers during the war. Unwind and relax at the Valugan Boulder Beach, which is home to different-sized boulders and rocks, and stroll along the Vayang Rolling Hills. Other tourist attractions you’ll visit are Casa Real, Immaculate Conception Cathedral, and one of the main lighthouses in Batanes, Basco Lighthouse.
The next day, the journey continues to South Batan, where you'll explore even more wonders. Go sightseeing in some viewing spots in the south, like Chawa View Deck, Madangay Viewing Point, Muchong View Point, Mahato Shelter Port, and the stunning Marlboro Hills in Batanes, a vast pasture with panoramic views that will leave you in awe. You will also explore other South Batan tourist spots like the Old Spanish Lamphouse, Maywang A Libro Du Vatan, House of Dakay, the Old Spanish Bridge, and the Batanes Area Museum and Satellite Office to learn more about Batanes, discover some pieces and artifacts, and know its history. Please note that the museum is closed on Sundays.
Aside from a historical tour, you will also head to some churches in South Batan, including the San Carlos Borromeo Church, San Jose de Obrero Church, and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish. Day 1 - Day 1: North Batan Tour
Your North Batan tour will start in the afternoon. Have your lunch and prepare yourself, as you will be picked up from your accommodations at 1 PM. You will ride a Cogon roofed tricycle, a mode of transportation in Batanes, as you go on a journey to North Batan. On your tour, you will visit some popular attractions like Tukon Chapel, PAGASA Basco Weather Station, Didawud Idiang, the World War II Japanese Hideout Tunnel, Valugan Boulder Beach, Casa Real, Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Vayang Rolling Hills, and the Basco Lighthouse. As you go along the tour, your tour guide will give you some insightful information about these attractions so you will learn more about Batanes and its history. After the tour, have your dinner at your own expense, and then you will be dropped off at your accommodations.
Day 2 - Day 2: South Batan Tour
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at your own expense, and prepare for another journey. Today, you will explore South Batan. At 9 AM, wait for your driver to pick you up from your accommodations so you can board the Cogon roofed tricycle. You will start your South Batan tour with more nature and sightseeing spots to visit, like Chawa Viewing Deck, Mahatao Shelter Port, the Old Spanish Bridge, Muchong View Point, Hummoron Lagoon, Maydangeb Beach, Alapad Rock Formation, Madangay Viewing Point, and Marlboro Hills. Tour Information: This private tour is available daily. Cogon Roofed Trike only has a capacity of 1-2 pax.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address or mobile number. Please keep all communicaton lines open. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready.
On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to start of the tour. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited.
Tour Proper: Please be reminded to dress appropriately. All guests are expected to do their share in ensuring their safety and security as well as that of their personal belongings. Guide to the Philippines and Tour Operators are not liable for the loss or damage to any personal belongings left unattended during the tour.

Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
