Visit the breathtaking highlands of the Philippines with this 2-day getaway to Sagada town with side trips to Banaue town and Baguio City.
Since this is only available on the weekends, it's a perfect trip for anyone craving a quick escape from the city. It includes roundtrip transfers from Manila City, private overnight accommodation at a standard-level non-air-conditioned lodging in Sagada town, breakfast on day 2, and the service of a tour coordinator.
This package does not come with other meals and activities not included in the itinerary.
To make the most of your weekend getaway, your adventure will start on the Friday evening before your selected date. You can be picked up from the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City or Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City from 10 PM or later, depending on the pick-up spot.
Since this is a shared tour, you’ll be traveling with fellow guests in the van, giving you the chance to meet other travelers along the way. Please note that some rows in the van may seat up to four passengers.
For a more personalized and comfortable journey, you have the option to upgrade to a private tour. With this upgrade, you’ll also enjoy the added convenience of being picked up and dropped off directly from and to your preferred location in Manila City, Bulacan Province, or the cities of Bacoor and Dasmariñas in Cavite Province.
You can then spend the rest of the trip up to the highlands sleeping so that you're refreshed when you arrive in Banaue town at around 6 AM.
In Banaue town, you'll visit the world-famous Banaue Rice Terraces. After having breakfast at your own expense, you'll continue to Sagada town.
The iconic Hanging Coffins will be your first stop in Sagada town. From there, you'll check out Sagada Pottery and Sagada Weaving, two destinations where you can learn about the culture and the artistry of the local people.
After your exploration of Sagada town, you’ll head to the town proper and check in at your lodging. After settling in, you will head out again to enjoy spelunking at the Sumaguing and Lumiang Caves.
When your tour is over, you will be brought back to your accommodation, and you can then spend the rest of the evening however you like.
The next day, you'll have breakfast at your accommodation before leaving at 4 AM to catch the sunrise over a breathtaking sea of clouds at Marlboro Hills.
Following your morning adventure, you'll head back to the town proper so you can check out of your accommodation. You will then pass by the La Trinidad Strawberry Farm in Benguet Province and the Pasalubong Center in Baguio City on your way back to Manila City.
