Immerse yourself into Iloilo’s culture and heritage when you book this online class and virtual tour package. These online sessions are perfect for those who are planning to visit Iloilo in the near future, as the 3 60-minute classes and 1 virtual tour will teach you about the local language, traditions, history, cuisine, and tourist spots if Iloilo. You will also be able to consult a local tour guide about your trip to the Philippine province in the future.

The schedule of all of your sessions is flexible, but you need to let your instructor know in advance should you need to reschedule. You can plan your sessions so you can have them once a day for 4 straight days, every other day, or once a week. Once the schedule is finalized, your instructor will give you the link to a Zoom meeting which will host your classes and virtual tour. 

You’ll start with a class on the Ilonggo language. Known as Hiligaynon, this language is the second most widely spoken language in the Visayas. Apart from Iloilo, you’ll also hear it spoken in Capiz, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Antique, Aklan, Masbate, and Palawan. In this class, you’ll learn the basics of Ilonggo and are expected to be able to use simple words and phrases that are used in everyday conversation.

Next, you’ll learn about the history and traditions of Iloilo. You’ll learn about the people who live in the province, as well as their way of life, values, and their contribution to the whole culture of the country. 

Your third session will be a class on the cuisine of Iloilo. Ilonggo dishes like La Paz batchoy, pancit Molo, kansi, and laswa are some of the must-try food in the whole country, so you are sure to have a gastronomic experience.

Lastly, you’ll go on a virtual tour of Iloilo’s famous tourist sites, including the mansions and churches in the neighborhood of Molo. After the virtual tour, you can ask your tour guide questions like where to stay, what to do, and where to eat to help you build your Iloilo itinerary.

Once confirmed, our operator will be providing a Zoom link to you via e-mail. There, you will have your private class for an hour per sub-topic. You may choose to change your preferred schedule. It may be on 4 consecutive days, every other day, or once a week.

The operator may cancel the tour in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original schedule subject to approval.
