Description

Improve your Bicolano language-speaking skills with this 8-session online course. These classes are perfect for anyone who already has a basic understanding of the Bicolano language and want to become more fluent. Each session lasts an hour and focuses on various topics, such as how to relate to and build relationships with others.

As the class schedule is flexible, you can choose how to spread out the sessions based on your availability and preference. In case you need to postpone a class, just make sure to inform your instructor ahead of time to avoid accidentally missing the session.

To prepare you for the more complex lessons, your first class will be a review of the basics of Bicolano. After brushing up on the language, you will learn how to set up a meeting or invite someone to a meal in the second session. In the third class, your instructor will teach you about the commonly used adjectives in Bicolano, such as "maboot" which means "kind." After your first three sessions, you will participate in a roleplaying activity with your instructor. Practicing how to use your newly learned phrases in real-life situations is a great way to commit them to memory and improve your fluency.

For lesson five, you will study what phrases and words you can say when visiting somebody's home. In the next session, you will learn how to describe emotions and feelings so you can better relate to people you're speaking with. After that, the seventh class will center around phrases commonly used when buying items in shops so you can easily purchase souvenirs during your trip to Bicol. Finally, the entire course will wrap up with another roleplaying activity to give you enough time to practice all the new words you learned with your instructor.

Expand your Bicolano vocabulary by booking this intermediate-level online language course. Check the availability by choosing a date.
