Enjoy a day exploring the natural attractions of Ibajay, Aklan with this day tour. You’ll have a long day ahead of you, so prepare to wake up early on the day of your tour. You will be picked up from your accommodations in Kalibo at 5 AM or earlier. After being picked up, you will head to your first stop, Katunggan It Ibajay, a mangrove eco-park. Here you’ll find the biggest Avicennia Rumphiana mangrove tree in the Philippines, which stands at around 20 meters tall. You can explore the park easily by walking along the wooden walkways.
Next, you’ll go on a one-hour trek to reach Nawidwid Falls. Once you are there, you can enjoy the waters cascading from 50 meters above. Take a swim at the natural pool below and enjoy the scenery. Take some snaps before you leave for your next and final stop, Mount Balinsayaw.
To get to the peak of Mt. Balinsayaw, you’ll need to trek for around one hour. Upon reaching the top, you’ll be rewarded with views of lush greenery and grass swaying in the breeze. Rest and take in the sights and try some activities in Mt. Balinsayaw before heading back to the starting point. From there, your guide will bring you back to your hotel in Kalibo.
