Afterward, you’ll board a balsa or a bamboo raft and make your way to the middle of Sumlang Lake, where you can have an unobstructed view of Mayon’s stunning perfect cone. While aboard the balsa, you will enjoy a complimentary breakfast of pinangat (a local dish made with taro leaves and coconut milk), pandesal (a Filipino bread roll), and juice.
Before continuing your tour, you’ll stop for lunch at Dreamer’s Bar and Grille in Guinobatan, Albay. A platter of the locally made Guinobatan Longganisa is free, but the rest of your meal will be at your own expense. After lunch, you’ll head to The Campsite. While you won’t be camping here, this spot is a good place to see Mayon. You’ll get a chance to see the volcano even closer when you visit the Mayon Skyline Viewdeck, which is just 6 kilometers from its crater.
After appreciating the views of Mayon, you’ll head to Tiwi, Albay's DJC Halo-Halo and Snack Inn, where you will enjoy a complimentary halo-halo, a Filipino dessert made with crushed ice, evaporated milk, and other various ingredients.
You’ll end your trip with a visit to PhilCeramics in Tiwi, where you can see artisans making different kinds of pottery. You can also buy souvenirs here. Once you are done shopping, your driver will bring you back to your hotel in Legazpi City.
