Get an off-road experience by joining this Albay Mayon ATV Lava & Green Trail adventure. This activity, which is approximately 3-4 hours long, is inclusive of free use of a 150cc engine ATV unit, free access to Green Lava Trail and Mayon Lava Trail, free use of all facilities, complete safety briefing and practice, gears, and services of a trail guide.
Before you can go on the ATV ride, you have to sign a waiver and sign up at the activity area. After your guide tells you about safety procedures, the trip will start. You will begin with the 2018 Mayon ATV Trail, which will take between 1-2 hours. This will let you drive an ATV to the closest lookout point from Mayon Volcano. At the Mayon Volcano lookout point, you'll get an even better view of the lava rocks from the 2018 eruption, which are just a few meters away. You will also have a beautiful view of Legazpi City and other villages in Albay.
The Green Lava Trail will be your last trail of the day, and it will take you between 1 and 1.5 hours to complete. For this tour, you will take the grasslands hike that starts near the Cagsawa Ruins. Stay alert as you drive through beautiful meadows where you can see Mount Mayon from a breathtaking angle. As you keep driving, you will cross a river, so you might get a few small sprays of water.
