Description

Get a deeper insight into Baguio City’s rich history and heritage by booking this half-day cultural tour. This Baguio City tour is perfect for history and culture lovers. It includes the assistance of a Department of Tourism-accredited guide, pick-up from your hotel in Baguio, all entrance fees, drinking water, and a souvenir. If you want a longer tour, you can get an upgrade so you can get a free lunch and additional stops.

Your driver and guide will pick you up from your accommodations within Baguio City’s center. From there, you will head to your first stop on this tour, the Baguio Museum. The building itself features Ifugao-inspired architecture, and while inside, you can view different artifacts that will teach you about the history and the different cultures in the Cordillera region.

Your next stop is the Easter Weaving Room. Just as its name suggests, here you can buy products woven by locals. You can also see how some of these products are woven by hand. After learning about the local weaving heritage, you will head to your next stop, the Tam-Awan Village.

The Tam-Awan village is where visitors can immerse themselves in the Ifugao and Kalinga culture. The site is home to local huts and exhibits showcasing the work of artists from Baguio City. The founders of the village envisioned the place to be a venue where visitors could appreciate Cordilleran art and heritage.

Your last stop is the famous Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad. The farm is just around 8 kilometers away from Baguio, making it easily accessible from the city. Here, visitors can see rows and rows of strawberry plants. When the fruit is in season, you can pick your own fresh strawberries for a fee.

Those who have upgraded their tour will have free lunch at Tam-Awan Village or at Farmer’s Daughter Restaurant. They will also be able to visit Museo Kordilyera and StoBoSa Hillside Homes Artwork. Museo Kordilyera is an ethnographic museum that is committed to the preservation and development of indigenous cultures in Northern Luzon. StoBoSa Hillside Homes Artwork is an array of colorful houses situated on a hillside, making for a beautiful sight that is the perfect backdrop for travel photos.
