Description

Explore Binondo and snap beautiful pictures when you book this Manila photowalk. This Binondo tour comes with the assistance of a tour guide, basic photography lessons, and light snacks. Please note that any additional food you want to consume on the tour will be at your own expense. This is perfect for those with little experience with street photography, even for those who don’t have a camera, as the lessons and tricks you will learn will also apply to smartphone photography. This activity will last approximately two hours.

Remember to dress appropriately as you will be exploring Binondo on foot. Light and comfortable clothing is recommended. On the day of your tour, you need to meet up with your tour guide at Plaza Lorenzo Ruiz at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity. To avoid delays, do not be late.

Your first stop is Binondo Church. This landmark in Binondo is the perfect spot to begin your exploration of the district, as the building is not only historically and culturally significant but also picturesque. Its Baroque architecture is the perfect subject for photos.

After your visit to the church, you will have a quick snack stop and you will be taught the basic rules of composition. Once you have understood this concept, you can try it out as you continue your Binondo tour, sampling different hopia from Eng Bee Tin, Ho-Land, and Polland.

Save some room for more delicacies as your next stops are Dong Bei Dumplings, where you can try different kinds of dumplings, and Sincerity Cafe and Restaurant, which serves a wide variety of Filipino-Chinese delicacies.

Finally, you will end your tour at Ramada by Wyndham, where you will visit Mento, an open-air restaurant with a view of the Binondo skyline, where you can practice more photography.

Improve your photography skills with this basic photography class in Manila. Check the availability by choosing a date.
