Your journey begins when the driver picks you up from your hotel in Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, or Cebu City and transports you to Oslob, where you may enjoy the scenic drive to the whale shark viewing location. Despite their size, Oslob's gentle giants are reputed to be extremely gentle and kind to swim with. You wouldn't even understand how large they are until you see them below the surface of the water, as some of them swim nearly vertically and in a fixed position.

After the whale shark activity, you will go on a Wild Monkey Viewing in Oslob. A little woodland on a hillside in Sitio Bulak, the site is home to at least a hundred monkeys. 

You will then make your way to Cuartel Ruins and Baluarte Ruins next. The Cuartel Ruins was built by the Spaniards in 1860 during the Spanish era when they lived there. It is made of thick coral stones, which made the structure so strong that it even stayed strong through typhoons and earthquakes.

Baluarte Ruins, on the other hand, is a very old watchtower that was built in 1788. The main reason this building was built was to make sure the guards could keep an eye on the area next door. 

Afterward, you'll be heading for a side trip to Boljoon Church. The 400-year-old church is made of coral stones, which makes it the oldest stone church in the Philippines.
