The Taraw Cliff in El Nido is a famous spot in El Nido. In the dry season, you can climb it for an awesome view of El Nido and Bacuit Bay. "Taraw" means mountains, and reaching the top means navigating through rocky cliffs. Two ways to climb are the regular hike or the Canopy Walk, both requiring you to face your fear of heights.
The regular hike goes up steep limestone rocks, requiring a guide and good shoes. For a safer option, try the Canopy Walk in El Nido. You’ll get a harness and safety gear, and there are built-in walkways for the best views. This activity is an easy hike combined with easy rock climbing and may be joined by first-time climbers.
The Canopy Walk El Nido tour takes you 75 meters above sea level, giving you a panoramic view of the island. You'll have a guide explaining everything and leading the way. At the start, there's a bridge you need to cross, but don't worry, as you will be safely harnessed. The rest of the way is secure with railings, footbridges, and paths in the rocks, making it easy and safe. It's not tiring, and you can reach the top easily. You can even take photos throughout the trip.
Take note that you can upgrade this with a Dreamcatcher experience. If you have health concerns like high blood pressure or epilepsy, or if you're pregnant or a senior, it's a good idea to pick a different activity. This way, you can have a more enjoyable and worry-free trip to El Nido.

Tour Information: This shared tour is available daily from 8:00 am to 12:00 nn and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm .
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address or mobile number. Please keep all communiaton lines open. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready.
On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at El Nido via Ferrata Nature Interpretation & Eco Tourism Adventure Reception Area, Rizal Street, Brgy. Maligaya, El Nido at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. To arrange for a private hotel pick-up and drop-off, please email booking@guidetothephilippines.ph. Additional transportation fees apply.
Tour Proper: Participants must have a height of 91cm to participate in this activity. Please be reminded also to dress appropriately. All guests are expected to do their share in ensuring their safety and security as well as that of their personal belongings. Guide to the Philippines and Tour Operators are not liable for the loss or damage to any personal belongings left unattended during the tour.
Restrictions & Limitations: This activity is not recommended for pregnant women, senior citizens and those with existing medical conditions such as high blood pressure, epilepsy, etc.
Children Friendly: Yes. Children are allowed to join the tour with parental supervision.
Pet Friendly: No. Please understand that the establishment does not allow pets inside.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: Yes. However, please be advised that this tour includes mostly walking tours and may not be suitable for PWDs or individuals with existing cardiovascular ailments.
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
