Description

Discover the natural charms of Guimaras Island with this half-day tour. This itinerary will include visits to some of the best land attractions and an island-hopping adventure, making this an ideal experience for first-time visitors.

The tour also includes pick-up and drop-off from Parola Wharf in Iloilo City, land and boat transfers, and the service of a guide.

You can choose between a morning tour and an afternoon tour.

For the morning excursion, you will be fetched from the Parola Wharf and quickly begin your inland tour while in an air-conditioned van. Your first stop will be at Jordan Wharf for a quick photo-op with the Mango Icon, a landmark that recognizes the mangoes that grow on the island. Guimaras Island is well-known for producing the sweetest mangoes in the Philippines.

From there, you will make your way to the Smallest Plaza, which features a statue of the Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Next, you will visit Our Lady of the Philippines Trappist Monastery, the only Trappist monastery in the Philippines run by monks. Following this, you will stop by the Pasalubong Centers and Mango Market. Feel free to sample the delicacies here and purchase some for your loved ones at home.

Afterward, you will travel to the Guimaras Signage and Capitol Grounds, where you snap photos and admire the surroundings. You will then end your land tour with a stop at the National Mango Research and Development Center, where you will get a first-hand look at the lush greeneries that produce the island's world-class mangoes.

From there, you will board your boat to begin your island hopping adventure. You will then travel to Naburot Island, Ave Maria Islet, Natago Beach, and Lamurawan Beach. These tropical hideaways feature stunning shores where you can lay on the sand and wade into azure waters. You will then end your island-hopping adventure at the Baras Cave, a spacious hideaway that boasts rock formations and a natural pool.

When you're all set to go, you will sail back to the mainland. You can also have lunch at the famous Home of Mango Pizza at your own expense before being dropped off at the Parola Wharf. Meanwhile, the afternoon tour simply starts with the option for lunch before visiting the inland and island attractions.
