Description

Explore the outdoor attractions of Ilocos Norte and visit some of its natural and man-made wonders with this day tour. This tour already comes with all permits and entrance fees required, transfers from your hotel in Laoag City, and the assistance of a tour guide to help ensure that you have a hassle-free experience.

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodations in Laoag City at 8 AM to start your tour. After getting settled in the car, you’ll head to Bacarra Ruins, your first stop of the day. The Bacarra Tower used to be one of the highest bell towers in the country, but several earthquakes managed to destroy its highest areas. Now only the base of this declared National Cultural Treasure remains.

Next, you’ll head to the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation in Burgos. What makes this rock formation unique is its white color and distinct shape, which provide a stark contrast to the blue sea and sky in the background. Take some pictures and marvel at the spectacular sight before heading to the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse. It is the country’s highest elevated active lighthouse, and the amazing part is, most of the original structure dating back to the Spanish era still stands.

Your next stop is the Bangui windmills, which form the Ilocos Region’s first and largest wind farm. After that, you’ll head to Pagudpud Beach, where you can swim or just chill. Next, you’ll head to Kaparisparisan Hill, where you can see breathtaking views of the sea and the rolling verdant landscape.

Your last stop on this tour is the Patapat Viaduct, an elevated highway along the coastal area of Pagudpud. It connects Cagayan Valley to the Maharlika Highway. After appreciating the distinct structure, you’ll return to your hotel in Laoag City with your driver.
