Description

See the beauty of Iloilo's rich heritage and famous Garin Farm with this Iloilo day tour. Travelers hoping to discover the stories behind this coastal province's best spots are perfect for this experience as it will take you straight to the top historical spots. Along with this, it also comes with free pick-up and drop-off within Iloilo City, land transfers to each attraction, service of a guide, and complimentary bottled water.

Your guide will fetch you from your hotel within Iloilo City using an air-conditioned van. When you're settled, you will begin your heritage tour of the city. You will first visit the Miag-ao Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for the relief sculptures in its facade. Next, you will drop by the Tigbauan Church, which features Latin-American architecture.

From there, you will be treated to a site view of Camina Balay Nga Bato, an 1865 heritage home that also operates as a restaurant, before traveling to the Molo Mansion. This 1920 structure now serves as a museum that displays works from local artisans. You will also head inside the Molo Church, best known for the red spires located at the tip of its bell towers. Afterward, you will stop by Esplanade 1 to take a photo by the I Am Iloilo Signage.

Next on the itinerary is a drive-by Megaworld, the local nickname for the Iloilo Business Park, a 72-hectare commercial district. You will then arrive at the Jaro Church, which houses a limestone statue of Nuestra Senora de Candelaria that is believed to grow continuously. After your time here, you will visit two more heritage homes, the Lizares Mansion that dates back to 1937 and the 200-year-old Casa Mariquit. You will then have time to shop for souvenirs and enjoy the pastries at Biscocho House before getting back in the van.

As you make your way to the Garin Farm, you will also drive by the Lopez Mansion, Iloilo Capitol, Casa Real, Calle Real, Fort San Pedro, and Calle Mulle. You may also stop for lunch at a local restaurant at your own expense. When you reach Garin Farm, you will have the freedom to explore on your own.

This 14-hectare resort features recreational, religious, and agricultural attractions, so you will have plenty of things to try out during your visit. Among them is a life-size diorama of scenes from the Bible.  After two hours, your driver will pick you up and drop you back off at your hotel or the airport.
