Explore some of the natural attractions of Laguna with this shared day hike to Mt. Romelo and a side trip to multiple waterfalls. This shared tour comes with pick-up and drop-off at one location in Metro Manila, air-conditioned van transfers, and the assistance of a tour guide. If the equipment is available, you can also use the tour company’s GoPro8 and drone.
You will be picked up at the agreed-upon meeting point in Metro Manila at around midnight. Once you have settled into the van, your driver will bring you to the jump-off point at Barangay Macatad in Siniloan, Laguna. After arriving there, you will register, and your guide will brief you about the trek.
After the briefing, you’ll begin the trek up Mt. Romelo. After around an hour of trekking, you’ll reach the summit, which stands at 240 meters above sea level. Take in the nature views or snap photos to commemorate the trek before heading to your next stop, Buruwisan Falls.
Mt. Romelo is the home of several gorgeous waterfalls, and Buruwisan Falls is one of the most popular and arguably the most beautiful. Its narrow water curtain comes from the Siniloan River and falls into a natural pool. A short trek away from Buruwisan Falls is Lanzones Falls. This smaller waterfalls flows onto a pool that eventually joins the waters of Buruwisan Falls.
After visiting the two waterfalls, you’ll rest and have lunch. Once you have filled yourself up, you will proceed to your next stop, Batya-Batya Falls. This two-level waterfall is perfect for swimming. Your last stop is Sampaloc Falls, one of the most secluded falls in Mount Romelo. Enjoy the views, take a refreshing dip, and snap photos before descending back to the jump-off point. You may shower there before heading back to Metro Manila.
