In this basic freediving workshop, you'll gain the knowledge and skills to safely explore the underwater world while holding your breath. Freediving, also known as apnea diving, is the practice of diving underwater without the use of breathing apparatus. The workshop will be a comprehensive introduction to freediving designed for beginners with no prior experience.

You'll learn how to breathe properly, clear your snorkel, and equalize pressure in your ears as you dive down. The course is similar to scuba diving but without the bulky gear. You just need to be able to swim and be in reasonable health, and you're good to go.

For this basic freediving in Manila class, you’ll have different levels. First is a 1-hour theory class, where you’ll start off with a session with an instructor where you'll learn the fundamentals of freediving. After the theory session, it's time to put what you learned into practice. In a safe and controlled pool environment, your certified instructor will guide you through a 2-hour in-water training session.

After you've mastered the basics, you'll have the opportunity to apply your newfound skills in a shallow open water environment, putting everything you learned to the test under the watchful eye of your instructor on a 1-hour in-water practice session.
