On the day of your freediving lesson in Manila, please head straight to your chosen location: Blueworld Dive Center in Parañaque or Dive Buddy in Muntinlupa. Present the electronic copy of your confirmation voucher upon arrival.
In this basic freediving workshop, you'll gain the knowledge and skills to safely explore the underwater world while holding your breath. Freediving, also known as apnea diving, is the practice of diving underwater without the use of breathing apparatus. The workshop will be a comprehensive introduction to freediving designed for beginners with no prior experience.
You'll learn how to breathe properly, clear your snorkel, and equalize pressure in your ears as you dive down. The course is similar to scuba diving but without the bulky gear. You just need to be able to swim and be in reasonable health, and you're good to go.
For this basic freediving in Manila class, you’ll have different levels. First is a 1-hour theory class, where you’ll start off with a session with an instructor where you'll learn the fundamentals of freediving. After the theory session, it's time to put what you learned into practice. In a safe and controlled pool environment, your certified instructor will guide you through a 2-hour in-water training session.
After you've mastered the basics, you'll have the opportunity to apply your newfound skills in a shallow open water environment, putting everything you learned to the test under the watchful eye of your instructor on a 1-hour in-water practice session.

Tour Information: This private tour is available only during weekdays (Monday to Friday).
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address or mobile number. Please keep all communication lines open. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready.
On the day of the tour, please head straight to Blueworld Dive Center (Parañaque)/Dive Buddy (Muntinlupa). Present the electronic copy of your confirmation voucher at the reception upon arrival. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. To arrange for a private hotel pick-up and drop-off, please email booking@guidetothephilippines.ph. Additional transportation fees apply.
Tour Proper: Please be reminded also to dress appropriately. All guests are expected to do their share in ensuring their safety and security as well as that of their personal belongings. Guide to the Philippines and Tour Operators are not liable for the loss or damage to any personal belongings left unattended during the tour.
Children Friendly: For 8 years old and above. Accompanying adult is advised.
Pet Friendly: No. Please understand that the operator does not allow pets inside.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: This may be a medium to extreme activity so we suggest to consult with your physician before proceeding with your booking.
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
