Description

Learn freediving techniques by joining this foundation course in Manila. Perfect for those seeking a more detailed freediving course in the Philippines, this private workshop includes the pool fee, instructor fee, and all the rental gear you need: fins, a mask, and a snorkel. Plus, you'll receive a free Azul t-shirt, video footage of the class, an e-certificate (that is recognized internationally), and an online manual.

When it's time for your freediving lesson in Manila, head to your chosen freediving center: Blueworld Dive Center in Parañaque or Dive Buddy in Muntinlupa. Just show them your confirmation voucher on your phone or device when you arrive.

In this freediving foundation course, you'll take your freediving skills to the next level and be a certified freediver. This course builds upon your existing knowledge and refines your technique for deeper and more comfortable dives. Think of it like scuba diving but without the bulky gear. This workshop is perfect for anyone who can swim and is in reasonable health.

For this freediving foundation class, you’ll have different levels. First is a 1-hour theory class, where you’ll briefly revisit freediving physiology and learn more advanced breath-hold training methods. You’ll also learn equalization techniques.

After the theory session, you'll head to the pool for 4 hours of in-water training with your certified instructor. This is where you'll get to practice the skills you learned in a safe and controlled environment. You’ll be able to train to hold your breath for up to 2 minutes, apply your equalization knowledge, and be taught different freediving techniques, such as bifins, dolphin, and no fins techniques. You’ll also be taught the buddy system when freediving.

Once you've got the hang of things, it's time to test your newfound skills with a 1-hour in-water practice session. No need to worry about safety, as your instructor will still keep a close eye on you. This is your chance to put everything you learned to the test and experience the thrill of freediving.

Have an exciting Philippines freediving experience by trying this foundation course. Check the availability by choosing a date.
