Description

Embark on an adventure to Mt. Kabunian when you book this Benguet day hike. This hiking package is perfect for those who want a hassle-free experience in one of the top Benguet mountains to hike, as it already includes pick-up and drop-off from and to Manila, the climbing permit, a climbing certificate, the assistance of a tour guide, a personalized bag tag souvenir, and free use of a GoPro8 and a drone (subject to availability).

On the night before your trip, you need to head to your chosen pick-up location in Metro Manila. You have three options: McDonald's Eton Centris in Quezon City, Greenfield District Mayflower Parking in Mandaluyong, and McDonald's Roxas Boulevard Service Road in Pasay City. Please be at your preferred location 30 minutes before your scheduled departure to avoid delays.

When everyone is settled in the vehicle, you will make your way to the jump-off point in Benguet. Along the way, you'll have a stopover so you can enjoy an early breakfast (at your own expense). You'll arrive at Barangay Poblacion in Bakun, Benguet at around 5 AM.

Before you start your trek to the summit of Mount Kabunian, you will register and listen to a safety briefing at the jump-off point. You will begin your ascent at around 6 AM. The trek to the summit will take around four hours.

When you arrive at the summit of Mount Kabunian, you will be treated to a scenic view of Bakun. Take in the sights and the fresh air and snap some photos before you begin your descent. Midway through your trek back, you will stop to rest and to have lunch. Your estimated arrival time at the jump-off point is at 3 PM.

While there, you have the option to wash up or go on a side trip to Tekip Falls, a gorgeous towering cascade that flows into a natural pool. Make sure to be back at the jump-off point by 5:30 PM, as you will head to Baguio by this time.

You will enjoy a late dinner in Baguio City before heading back to Manila. Your estimated time of arrival is at midnight.
