Your Mt. Pulag hike tour starts when you're picked up from Metro Manila or Cavite at 9 PM. From there, you will make your way to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Office of Mt. Pulag in Benguet. When you arrive in the early morning, you will undergo a brief orientation on climbing the mountain. Afterward, you will head to the Ranger Station to secure your mountain guides, settle in your homestay accommodation for the night, and have lunch and dinner before sleeping.
At midnight, your guide will wake you up in time for breakfast and guide you through a quick stretching routine before you start your ascent. By 1 AM, you'll begin making your way to the peak via the Ambangeg Trail. You will also be given enough time to rest at campsites along the way. At around 4:30 AM, you should already be at the viewing deck to watch the sun rise over the province. Depending on the weather conditions, you may also see a sea of clouds form over the lower parts of the mountain, making for a majestic view.
Afterward, you'll continue onto the summit, where you can take a few moments to snap photos of the beautiful scenery. You can also take photos with the summit marker to commemorate your climb! You will then head back to the Ranger Station to wash up and enjoy lunch before returning to the DENR Office to log out. By 2 PM, you'll go on a side trip to Baguio City, where you can have dinner a the famous Good Taste Restaurant at your own expense. You will then continue onto Metro Manila or Cavite.
